Discover Amazing Spiritual India!
"India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend,& the great grandmother of tradition. The most valuable & most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only!"-Mark Twain
India is a country with many facets, most of which we are familiar with. From the snowcapped peaks in Kashmir to the sandy beaches of the south, the vast desersts of the west to the hilly regions of the east, we have seen images of this beautiful country all around. But there is so much about India that we don't know. Like the fact that it is the cradle of the world's oldest, largest & most continous civilization.Did you know that India is a country that has never invaded another country? In a history spanning 1,00,000 years India has remained a uniquely peaceful nation that has at different times been ruled by different invading conquerors. Not surprisingly, today India is the world's largest democracy. But that's not all.Varanasi, an ancient Indian city is the only city in the world that has been continously inhabited for the longest duration in history.
A centre of learning, the world's first UNIVERSITY was established in TAKSHASHILA in INDIA in 700 B.C. SANSKRIT,an ancient Indian language is the mother of all EUROPEAN languages.Algebra, geometry,& calculus, all originated in India. The decimal system,AYURVEDA(the oldest school of MEDICINE known to man) & SURGERY(pioneered by Sushruta) also came from India. Not surprisingly,India is the only country in the world besides Japan & U.S.A which has indigenously built a super COMPUTER.
It is no wonder that Albert Einstein said,"We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made."
YOGA & MEDITATION
Yoga n Meditation (As a physical n mental exercise)
Yoga n Meditation as an exercise is merely different from meditation, thou both are interrelated. Being a meditator a spiritualist is a journey performed ahead of the exercise stage.Yoga n Meditation as an exercise is for the body n mind, so being a Yoga n Meditation Practioner is a very important level to reach the final level of a meditator a spiritualist a yogi, as in a best karmayogi, not merely the so called Baba's in India n Saints globally;) Do not misunderstand here wid the term ''yogi''--- it means universal n ones own goodness. One has to practice the Asanas to the best everyday to reach perfection, n to start the spiritual journey ahead, of a Meditator, a Spiritualist, a Karmayogi which means a trial to reach perfection, by an attempt to remove lot of imperfections out of our lives, & connecting wid the superpower via channeling thru meditation, all the meditators wud be aware of, but for the non meditators in simple terms ''TO TRY TO DO WHATEVER GOOD U DOING TO ITS BEST WITH UR HEART N SOUL N HONESTY, N BEING HUMAN BY ATLEAST TRYING TO HELP OTHERS WHEREVER POSSIBLE N NOT HURTING ANY LIVE ENTITY.'' Hope could talk in laymans terms, n send across our message;)
The GIFT Of YOGA & MEDITATION...is one of INDIA's wonderful gifts to mankind !!!
The word YOGA comes from the SANSKRIT root ''YUJ'' meaning to join or yoke, implying the integration of every aspect of a human being from the innermost to the external. Another frequently used defination of YOGA is that of UNION OF THE INDIVIDUAL SPIRIT WITH THE UNIVERSAL, SINCE THAT IS IT's HIGHEST AIM.

Eight UNIVERSAL COMMANDMENTS to be a true YOGI & MEDITATOR as in to be a real YOGA & MEDITATION Practitioner!!!
YOGA is considered to be a philosophy, a science & an art. It has eight clearly defined aspects &, in its purest form, is a complete system capable of answering all human needs.
1. Five universal commandments(yama) aimed at creating a ''better'' world: not harming anyone or anything; truthfulness; non-stealing; leading a godly, chaste life; & being non-grasping.
2. Five personal disciplines(niyama): cleanliness; contentedness; self-discipline; self-study & study of the scriptures; & dedication to God.
3. Practice of postures(asanas): devoted & concientious practice of the various types of posture.
4. Practice of breath control(pranayama): practicing breathing techniques with care & discrimination.
5. Detachment from worldy activities(pratyahara): developing a non-attached attitude of body & mind.
6. Concentration(dharana): Being able to hold on to a subject mentally.
7. Meditation(dhyana): developing a quiet meditative state.
8. Trance or a state of bliss(samadhi): reaching a state of absorption in a subject or in the Divine.

Meditation (As in meditators meditation, being a MEDITATOR, a SPIRITUALIST, a KARMAYOGI, in laymans terms connecting n channeling with the Superpower, the Allmighty, whatever u may call or believe it to be)
Their are different kinds of meditation practices which are being practicsed in INDIA (the land of MEDITATION N SPIRITUALITY) n now globally, by people of different faiths n beliefs, from all over the world n we do have centres worldwide in INDIA/UK/US/Canada/Australia/Africa n many more, jus check for the list on sites.
Now what we follow, which meditation we adopt to or rather practice is as per our faith n will, coz nothing is superior to the other all are the best, their is no competition here to prove who's the best, which one practice is the best, as all lead us to the allmighty, the supreme power whatever u believe or connect with.Yes one thing is important as to u shud only follow one practice, as u can't have ur mind n focus wandering at several places at one time, u won't reach your ultimate aim, n rather would get mislead & lost.

RULES n REGULATIONS for different MEDITATION PRACTICES:
Rules n Regulations thats the NOBLE EIGHTFOLD PATH to be followed by a Meditator.
Our task is to eradicate suffering by eradicating its causes: ignorance, craving, aversion. To achieve this goal the Buddha discovered, followed, & taught a practical way to this attainable end. He called this way the NOBLE EIGHTFOLD PATH.
Once when asked to explain the path in simple words, the Buddha said,
"Abstain from all unwholesome deeds, perform wholesome ones,
purify your mind"---this is the teaching of the enlightened persons.
The NOBLE EIGHTFOLD PATH can be divided into three stages of Sila, Samadhi, & Panna. Sila is moral practice, abstention from all unwholesome actions of body & speech. Samadhi is the practice of concentration, developing the ability to consciously direct & control one's own mental processes. Panna is wisdom, the development of purifying insight into one's own nature.
1.The Value Of Moral Practice
We must abstain from all actions, all words & deeds, that harm other people.
The Buddha said,
''Burning now, burning hereafter, the wrong-doer suffers doubly...
Happy now, happy hereafter, The virtuous person doubly rejoices.''
2. Right Speech( absolute NOBLE SILENCE to be practiced at all Centres, n back in daily life chaotic jungle routine, atleast try to maintain how much ever silence that can be possible.)
3. Right Action
4. The 5 Precepts
to abstain from killing any living creature (B
5. to abstain from stealing
6. to abstain from sexual misconduct(being true n honest to ur one choosen legal partner,or else u wud definately pay for ur immoral acts somewhere in life forsure.Always remember u get wat u give.)
7. to abstain from false speech
8. to abstain from intoxicants
These 5 Precepts are the essential minimum needed for moral conduct. They must be followed by anyone who wishes to practice meditation.
The Eight Precepts need to be followed only during the time given to intensive practice of meditation. When the time is over a lay person may revert to the 5 Precepts as guidelines for moral conduct.
Finally there are the Ten Precepts for those who have adopted the homeless life of a recluse,a medicant monk, or a nun. These ten precepts include the first eight, with the seventh precept divided into two& one further precept: to abstain from accepting money. Recluses must support themselves solely by the charity they receive, so that they are free to devote themselves fully to the work of purifying their minds for their own benefit & for the benefit of all.
The Precepts, whether five, eight, or ten, are not empty formulas dictated by tradition. They are literally ''steps to implement the training'' very practical means to ensure that one's speech n actions harm neither others nor oneself.
10th Precept Right Livelihood
Practice Of Sila(moral conduct) in Meditation is of UTMOST Importance.
The practice of Sila (moral conduct) is an integral part of the path of meditation. Without it there can be no progress on the path, because the mind will remain too agitated to investigate the reality within. There are those who teach that spiritual development is possible without Sila. Whatever they may be doing, such people are not following the teaching of Enlightened Souls. Without practising Sila it may be possible to experience various ecstatic states but it is a mistake to regard these as spiritual attainments. Certainly without Sila one can never liberate the mind from suffering & experience ultimate truth.
